This attitude is often used as a rationale for impulsive or reckless behavior. Yet COVID-19 has confirmed that death does not discriminate.  And it can come at any moment. YOLO is, therefore, resonating with many professionals. The YOLO economy is characterized by an attitude which has captured a certain type of bored office worker in recent months. It involves the realization that life can be shorter than expected. It also involves the fearlessness to pursue work-life-balance and one’s own dreams.
